Descrioption

A plump frog with short hind limbs, webbed toes and spoon shaped fingertips. Males up to 60mm SVL, females slightly larger (65mm). Dark brown overall with white-tipped tubercles giving a granular appearance. Inguinal spot brick red in specimens from Java, other populations with yellow inguinal spots (Iskandar, 1998).
