Do you have great inovation idea in Indonesian biodiversity utilization? Oh yes you have! Then it’s the time to realizing your idea so it’s can give positive impact for human and environment.
Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (KEHATI) in 2016 is challenging the Biodiversity Warriors to compete their ideas in Small Grant Program (SGP). The given challenge themed “PEKA Inovation” (peka in Indonesian mean care, considerate) there are Food (Pangan), Energy (Energi), Health (Kesehatan), and Water (Air) that located in Sea and Seashore Ecosystems, Agricultural Ecosystems, and Forest Ecosystems.
PEKA Inovation :
• Processing and utilization of local food resources inovation
• Converting biodiversity resources into energy
• Processing and utilization of biodiversity for medical purpose (health)
• Utilize biodiversity for water conservation
This year is the second year of Small Grant Project program. In 2015 the winners of Small Grant Project are Gayam (Inocarpus edulis Forst) Conservation and Utilization as Biodiversity Potential by Gayam Rengers Team; Biodiversity Utilization through Mangrove Vegetation Utilization by Abednego Togatorop, David Pasaribu, and Eral Jantua Gurning; Nature Environment Comic by Widodo Setyo Aji Setiabudi, Dwi Nova Wulandari, Muhammad Irfangi, Burhanudin; and Photo Exhibition : Glory of Biodiversity Conservation Battle in Banyumas by Apris Nur Rakhmadani.
The choosen team has shown that young generation can give real action for environment.
