Citizen Science, Solution for National Biodiversity Data Needs

Indonesia have the land area almost 2 millions km, compare it with Japan which is the land area only 374.834 km. The land territorial area of Indonesia also gives the wealth of large biodiversity. Yet the other challenge arise, how is the way to record all biodiversity that is spread all over Indonesia?

Flora-Indonesia.id try to answer that challenge by building a platform citizen science. The platform is look like a digital library which records biodiversity all over Indonesia. Everyone can share information about biodiversity in Indonesia there. By involving many people, then it is not impossible flora diversity can be explored.

On Wednesday 3rd February, Biodiveristy Warriors enrich themselves by learning the way to record the standardize flora. Several things which is taught are the right way to take a plant photography, collecting specimen, making specimen file directory, and uploading data of specimen to Flora-indonesia.id Flora-indonesia.id is formed because of cooperation and support from Gunadarma University.
