Batu City, East Java is a mountain tourism city that is very popular with the people of East Java, even throughout Indonesia because of its geographical condition in the Argopuro Mountains. The number of tourists who visit on every holiday or weekend, making local people benefit in the sale of souvenirs typical of Batu, one of which is jackfruit chips.

The activity that we have done is able to utilize the waste from processing jackfruit chips, namely jackfruit seeds (Artocarpus heterophyllus) into jackfruit seed flour and then jackfruit seed flour is used as a variety of processed recipes for Supplementary Food Substitutes / PMT in under-malnourished children in Batu, East Java .

The purpose of processing jackfruit seed flour is to utilize local food products that were not valuable to be a product with high-value local wisdom and sell economically, able to improve the welfare of the surrounding community, and can help reduce the incidence of malnourished children under five or BGM.

In the implementation of local food product processing activities that have the full support of the KEHATI Foundation, of course, involves many parties who help, including the Artocarpus Warrior team, Biology students of UINSA Surabaya, RT, RW, Kelurahan in Batu, Malang City Health Service, Malang Research and Development Center, and the Surabaya Health Laboratory and PKK ladies in the Batu City area.
