CO-MANAGEMENT OF GARBAGE: IGAF LC IPB

After educating the children and painting the dustbins, it would be rigmarole as the children were not taught to manage and maintain the dustbins. In other hand, the children should be embedded with the values of environmental loves particularly not throwing rubbish everywhere. Another aspect outside of children, society around of the village should be also engaged to manage the dustbins created by IGAF LC IPB and their children.

On 23 November 2014, IGAF collaborated with the society of Kampung Nyencle, Cilangkap, Kab. Depok to get together maintain and always manage the waste. So, we introduced waste management to mitigate and alleviate pill of wastes. Society could use 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) to manage wastes. They could produce valuable or value-added products from wastes by 3R principles application. For instance, they can obtain decorative papers from pulping the used papers and mat forming the pulp. In other hand, plastic bags could be gained from recycling plastics.
